This postcard features a photograph of a Penitent Death Angel, or Muerto, figure from Cordova, New Mexico. The figure is used in the annual procession of the Penitent Brothers on Good Friday. The image is from the Taylor Museum for Southwestern Studies, Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center.
