"The Child's Book of Favorite Stories", w/eight color illustrations. John Wiley and Son, New York. Designed as a holiday gift, no apparent date. Possibly mid-19th century. GENERAL condition for age is fair to good, with expected browning, stains, inscriptions, loose binding or pages, small tears and marks, corner/edgewear, fraying. The Stevenson bookboards have water damage, "Child's Book..." also to lesser extent. Pages for all are complete, color in illustrations is still generally bright and sharp.
