Antique Adlake railroad switchlock, a Union Pacific banner, Union Pacific emblem pin, American flag, and wooden souvenir railroad whistle. The steel lock (no key) has the original spike chain still attached. Marked "Adlake" on the front dropcover, with "C.R.I. & P." (Chicago, Rock Island, and Pacific) and Patent number 2019483 stamped on the back. Dropcover still has good spring action; stamped underneath it are numbers "149", likely used to indicate date of manufacture, the first quarter of 1949. GREAT patina. 3' x 5' nylon gold banner with Union Pacific emblem is in very good condition, as is the modern (50 stars) 4' x 6' American flag. Bright color, metal eyelets for hanging. Union Pacific emblem enamel pin with metal back attachment is in good condition. Souvenir wood train whistle measures 9", carved out to make a train whistle sound when blown into. (Tested!) Maroon train illustration on one side.
