Vintage red ware or pottery black dachshund dog bookends. The bookends are designed to look like a dachshund that has been split in half, with the head and front legs forming one piece and the body and tail forming the other. They are made of pottery with a glossy black finish and have a playful, stylized design. There are some minor chips and wear consistent with age and use. There is a noticeable chip and crack on the nose. There is a crack around the tail.
