Inlaid green stone surface mosaic replica of Mesoamerican Olmec style carving of a man holding a were-jaguar smaller figure. Appears to have intentional holes in ears. There is inlaid stone which could be aventurine, jadeite, soapstone or a number of other things that preclude this piece being authentic. The stone inlay has been worn off quite a bit.
It shares many similarities to carved Preclassic Mesoamerican Olmec figures, such as the "rubbery" body, flat-backed elongated head, a jowly "babyface" visage with a downturned open jaguar-like mouth, double pierced pupils in almond-shaped eyes, and pierced ears for suspending earrings or ornaments narrow rectangular ears. It's a superb copy of antiquities of this ilk.
