Maxant brand motorized honey extractor, for a serious bee-keeping enthusiast. Measures 26" diameter, 29" height. Steel container with conical bottom, with a Hills-McCanna 2" valve where the honey drains. With motor attached, height extends to 48 1/2". This appears to be a 20-frame model, designed for beekeepers with 8 to 12 hives. Switch motor unit is a Westinghouse 1/3 HP AC motor, 1725 RPM.
Unit shows heavy use and wear, staining, rust, corrosion, dirt and grime. Lid opens from either side of container, shows heavy dirt, missing and cracked/peeling paint, wear and grime. Interior shows use, corrosion, honey remnant. Interior assembly intact, no honey frames included. Motor assembly shows use, dirt/grime buildup, rust/corrosion. Motor does power up.
