Two collections of Jefferson Nickels, 1938-1961 and 1962-1965 and matching blue Whitman coin collector books #9009, #9039. Both books are nearly complete, missing ONLY 1939-D and 1965-D. The 1962 book includes additional nickels past the last book-designated entry, ranging in year from 1966 to 1978, though not all mint mark examples of each year are represented. The coins appear as Very Good to Very Fine overall. The wartime year silver nickels (1942-1945) are heavily patinated and appear unlike any others in the series. Coins have NOT been 100% verified for year/mintage accuracy.
Whitman books are in good vintage condition; stickers, tape/writing evident. Spines and coin panels show some wear, but are intact.
