Complete three volume early hardcover edition set of "The Family Treasury of Children's Stories", 1956, Doubleday. Pauline Rush Evans, editor and Donald Sibley, illustrator. The books show some yellowing, edge bumps, edgewear, some small light staining. Books One and Two have loose binding, Book Three is still relatively tight. Covers overall still have good color in the embossed figures. No evident writing anywhere. Stories include nursery rhymes, bedtime stories, poetry including "Henny-Penny", "The Tale of Peter Rabbit", "The Story of The Three Bears", "The Velveteen Rabbit", "The Ugly Duckling", "My Shadow", many more. Hard to find complete!
