CA-5. Carl Gustafs Stads Gevärsfaktori / SAMCO MIA FL (Samco Global Arms Inc., Miami, FL) Swedish Mauser short rifle M96/38 conversion, 6.5x55mm rifle.

Serial number 364694. Markings stamped on the receiver ring indicate this was originally built in 1915 during WW1 as a Model 1896 long rifle and later converted by the arsenal to the Model 1938 short rifle configuration. The buttstock contains a brass disc which shows internal bore diameter, condition rating, and a bullet trajectory correction value as recorded by the armory during the last military inspection.
