"Barber" Dimes collection, loose/uncategorized. Approximately 150 coins. Barber dimes (named for the engraver, Charles E. Barber) were minted from 1892-1916, composed of 90% silver, 10% copper. The oldest coin represented here is 1898, most from 1911, least (1) from 1904. There are also three coins from the last year of production, 1916. Some New Orleans (1903) and San Francisco (1916) mintages noted. Coins appear as Fair to Good condition overall, a small number possibly approaching Very Good.
