A vintage red cast iron bench vise manufactured by the American Scale Co. This vise features a swivel base and a built-in anvil. The "1040" model number is visible on the side. Shows signs of age and use, consistent with its vintage nature.

Good vintage condition. Shows wear, scratches, and some rust, consistent with age and use. The jaws appear functional, and the swivel base operates.
