Bound volume of approximately 30 1970's Good Humor posters by Kalan Inc. of Philadelphia, ubiquitous in offices and elsewhere at the time. Paper, enclosed in protective sleeves, each measures 11" x 17". Paper shows some yellowing, but overall in very good condition. Volume also includes some other '70's vintage posters as well, such as "Desiderata" and Stephen Schutz-designed items.
The St. Louis Globe-Democrat comic posters are dated Sept. 14 and 22, 1968, part of an ongoing series at the time. Features full-color illustrations from Tom K. Ryan's "Tumbleweeds" comic strip, and a Shorten and Whipple illustration, "There Oughta Be A Law". Measures 21.75" x 16.5" Enclosed in protective plastic, these show yellowing and some small tears along the very top of the paper, contained outside of the comic border. Great illustrations!
