1930’s Era Works Progress Administration wood box used to store time cards or other documents. 

“The Works Progress Administration (WPA; later renamed the Work Projects Administration in 1939) was a major American “New Deal” agency established on May 6, 1935, by President Franklin D. Roosevelt to provide job relief during the Great Depression.”

The box measures 11”x5”x3.25” and is marked “WPA” on the top and “WPA Property of USA” on the bottom.

Also included is a “History Channel American History Collectors Series” medallions.  The medallions are bronze and feature items of historical significance, a vintage “God and Country, Our American History” 2-medal promotional set, two Lincoln-Kennedy Commemorative coins, two Hawaii National Parks Milkcap sets, a selection of vintage uncanceled postage stamps, a group of vintage US Army ribbon/pins/buttons and three reproductions of Confederate bills.
