1926-S Oregon Trail Half Dollar, 90% Silver. This coin has not been graded. Included document states that this is America's most beautiful commemorative coin. Total Mintage: 83,055
Designed by James Earle Fraser (reverse) and his wife Laura Gardin Fraser (obverse), this silver coin depicts a Native American man with his arm outstretched as if to say "stop" on the obverse.
Behind the warrior is a map of the Oregon Trail. The reverse shows a Conestoga wagon heading west.
